The President leads the Board and ensures club policies are adhered to. The President prepares the
agenda for monthly executive meetings and chairs the meetings. In addition, the President ensures
executive members fulfil their duties and assist as required as well as represent the Club as a liaison on
any organization committee for events the club is hosting. More details available upon request.

The Vice President assists the work of the President and Executive as needed, including chairing
Executive Meetings when the President is absent. This is a one-year position that will lead to becoming
President the following year. More details available on request.

The Secretary attends, records and distributes minutes of executive meetings and AGM to Board
members. In addition, works with the nomination committee to advertise open executive positions to
the membership and assist in recruiting interested members for vacant positions. Assist other Board
member duties as required.

The Treasurer maintains the financials for the club.

This Director registers all skaters for competition(s), arranges for chartered bus transportation when
needed, and books hotel accommodations.

The Social Media Director creates content for the RSST Facebook page and Instragram site and directs
questions from the social media platforms to the appropriate persons. The Director also creates content
for the Living Skies Synchroskate Invitational Facebook pages.

The Registration Director ensures the on-line registration is active on the RSST website for skaters to
register in their respective programs (competitive and recreational). The Director works closely with
coaches, Scheduling Director and Treasurer to determine appropriate registration fees. In addition, the
Director oversees the registration process for the annual Living Skies Invitational.

The Publicity Director arranges ads in local media to advertise and promote RSST programming and
maintains the club’s website. In addition, the Publicity Director monitors correspondence from the RSST
e-mail address, and answers e-mails or forwards them to the appropriate person on the Board. The
Director also sends out club correspondence on behalf of the President and the Board.

The Scheduling Director submits ice requests to the City of Regina. In addition, the Director cancels or
reschedules ice as required as well as provides updated ice usage to the Treasurer for allocation to the
appropriate budget.

If you are unsure about volunteering for a specific Director position, but want to get involved, a Director at Large position may be the perfect option.  This is an opportunity to become part of the Board, learn what goes on, and share information with others in the club.  

Assist with the ongoing development and maintenance of the club’s website and technical aspects of the registration process (Content Management System).
